3:18. அப்பொழுது சாமுவேல் ஒன்றையும் அவனுக்கு மறைக்காமல், அந்தக் காரியங்களையெல்லாம் அவனுக்கு அறிவித்தான். அதற்கு அவன்: அவர் கர்த்தர்: அவர் தமது பார்வைக்கு நலமானதைச் செய்வாராக என்றான்.

3:18. அதனால் சாமுவேல் ஏலியிடம் எல்லாவற்றையும் கூறினான். அவன் ஏலியிடம் எதையும் மறைத்து வைக்கவில்லை. ஏலி, "அவர் கர்த்தர். அவருக்குச் சரியெனத் தோன்றுவதை அவர் செய்யட்டும்" என்றான்.

3:18. So Samuel told him everything. He did not hold back anything from him. Eli said, "The LORD will do what he pleases."

3:18. So Samuel told Eli everything; he didn't hold anything back. "It is the LORD's will," Eli replied. "Let him do what he thinks best."
